While everyone here complains about the distributor pricing on LE, it is called "Limited Edition" for a reason.
We have sold our LE's and Toppers at MSRP price.
In several instances, the customer then turns around a week later and lists that LE game at $13k and Toppers at $1500 the next day.
These are the same people who are now trying to sell a Black Knight topper for $2500. I now refuse to sell to those customers. So it's not the distributor driving up the cost of the games, its the consumer who wants to be a flipper.
If you have a 20 year old Addams Family and you think it's worth $10k, then you're part of the problem of inflation of these games. Personally, I think it's great that the used market is priced to stupidity. It makes selling a new Stern Prem at $7700 with warranty much easier.
So what? You’re losing a customer base and buyer takes risk of selling too high or garnering a bad rep. Sell above MSRP then. Folks will buy or shop the competition.
