Does anybody have a good solution for keeping track of and displaying High Scores??

I was inspired by a local Pinsider with a massive chalkboard setup. He kept track of his top scores, guests high scores, kids high scores scores etc etc. It's very cool.

Does anybody have an elegant solution for this??

I'm thinking along the lines of a scrolling LCD display, or perhaps an iPad App?? There must be a way to do this. Scrolling LED light board??

The old days you'd just scratch them on the side of the head with a knife.

I've suggested that on a few of my friends' beautifully restored older machines. It's rarely well received.

You need a freaking laser to scan all that info on the wall! With graphics, sound effects, and fog!

Or how about a dry erase board with black light and luminescent markers.

    Dry Erase board.

It's the iPad of the 80s.

Hopefully a kick starter will be popping up soon for this:

That's very cool. But not quite what I'm thinking about. I would love to keep track of high scores for U14s. High Scores for Newbies. High scores for Couples etc etc. A dry erase or chalkboard may be my solution, but it would be so cool to have this scrolling on a monitor somehow.

I'm sure it can be done. I just may not be smart enough!

If all you want is scrolling on a monitor, get a Raspberry Pi computer and the monitor of your choice (assuming you have basic computer skills).

I may even put this on my to do list, as I need to do something similar.

That's the kid of thing I was thinking. Wondered if somebody had already done it.

Well, we are using 20 year old technology.
