You'll want to post the machine and/or boardset you're working with. Classic Bally/Stern?
Work on one display at at time, disconnect all others. That'll help isolate the issue to just the display you're working on. If you can get one fully working display then you know for sure any other displays with issues have a problem at the display itself and not at the MPU.
