At player 3 of my Flight 2000 there is a weird every other digit that goes dim and bright.

Moved different displays around and it always stays with player 3 location. Doesn’t matter if it’s a Stern or Bally display. Same result.

With a different MPU it was more of a flicker. This MPU has a weird scrolling look. Disconnected all other displays and this still happens to this one location.

Repinned the connector at the MPU J1 pin 22 and at the display pin 15 which is the Display Latch Strobe for player 3. Any other things I should look at?

Only had Trifulcon pins so didn’t want to redo the entire connector since that would take too much force to put on and off the display board.

So removed each pin one at a time and re-bent slightly to add more tension.

Pin 20 (5 volt) immediately snapped in half as soon as I touched it. Crimped on a new pin and all is good for player 3!
