I have finally crossed over from lurking to posting!

I want to extend great thanks to Ken for his time planning and building the Wizard display box.

His design, lighting implementation, paint work, and overall craftsmanship is very impressive.

The build process has been covered well in the thread above, and I wanted to post a couple of (pre-mounting) photos and a video of the finished product.

The first minute of the video focuses on the lighting patterns, and the balance of the video highlights the box, the contrast with Abra Ca Dabra, and the artwork itself.

Note: The lighting patterns can move pretty rapidly at times, so persons with a sensitivity to such motion may not want to view the portions of the video containing the lit backglass.

The lighting mask employed by Gottlieb is interesting on both Wizard and Abra Ca Dabra (my tracing of the Wizard backglass reveals is in Ken's Post # 1 above), and I agree with you that it could be neat if the woman, as well as the small character to her lower-right, were also revealed to the lighting.

I have wondered about the use of the pale blue/minimal color for those characters, and what that was to represent.....
