I was at Downtown Disney, Orlando 2 years ago and specifically went on the hunt for the pinball machines in Disney Quest.
They were right up on the 7th (?) floor and took some finding, even after asking for directions from staff. The rest of the place was busy with kids and adults alike.
I don't remember all of the machines but do remember POTC, SM, CSI and Tron and possibly 3 or 4 others. They were all in pretty rough shape and kids would walk up to them press start a dozen or so times until they realised the ball was waiting to be launched and then play one or 2 balls before walking away leaving the machine with balls to play, and go and play a video game which was easier to understand.
I ended up playing on one machine and launching the balls on the machine either side of me so they would be ready to play.
Photo is from The Magic Kingdom, not a single person came anywhere near any of the machines while I was there, and I played each machine at least once.
It seems that even when the machines are out on site (which is very uncommon in the UK) people, especially kids, aren't playing them.
