Pinplayer1967 A lot of the guests I see are people who come year after year or multiple times a year. So they know how to do the parks and how to rest so to speak. Here at the Contemporary we have Chef Mickey's which is a character dining experience. So we see transient guests waiting for dinner so they pop in to pass the time. There are also "locals" who live here that pop in and out from time to time when the hit the parks. When the Contemporary Arcade was in it's original location it was an attraction of it's own. It was pretty much the biggest arcade in the area so lots of locals would hang out there on the weekends not to mention the guests staying here who knew about it. Plus it was open 24 hours! It was close to 4000 sq ft. It held at one point 200 games including a giant shooting gallery half the size to the one in Frontier land. Now we're literally a hole in the wall just a small game room with 78 games four of them being pins.
Hey acdc_fan, I live in north Orlando and had heard the Disney pinballs were all in bad shape. Which, if any of the arcades are worth visiting for pinball? Do you have to pay for parking or is it free? Thanks for the inside information!
