I'm not sure there is an overwhelming consensus or what qualifies as best other than chrome = shiniest but will get stuck in games with magnets vs. carbon = less shiny but won't magnetize. I bought a bunch of carbons from Pinball Life last black friday, I like 'em. Titans are good as well. I put the shiny chrome ones in EMs mostly.

Titan Pinball’s standard shiny pinball is the best all around pinball for the money imo. They look great and never have to worry about magnets.
