With all these AFM FS threads as of late, I couldn't help notice others have the same issue as I do on my picture with their green invaders ....FILTH!

Anyone one have suggestions on a good product to give these guys a well needed bath?

I'm a little concerned of discoloration of the eyes and teeth.

Easy to repaint !

Lloyd has been known to give his martians a hot tub to soak in.

Soak them in warm (not hot) water with a mild liquid soap like Ivory. Use an old soft toothbrush.

You may have to repaint the eyes and teeth as they come off easily.

You can always try spraying them down with this product so that they'll never get dirty again...

Don't clean them up too much, after all they are Filthee Marshonnes.

I used Castrol Super Clean and a stiff toothbrush and repainted the eyes and teeth.

Based on the responses, I've booked a weekend at the spa for them... Full makeover!

What others have said...
I've soaked them in warm water then sprayed them down with 'scrubbing bubbles' and a tooth brush.

Never had that paint come off on the eyes or teeth

Check the back of their arms for cracks and use super glue to keep them attached. How these have not been properly reproduced is crazy.

I throw them in the dishwasher in the silver ware rack. Of course i also wash cpus driver boards and pcbs in the DW too come out looking new.

Bad idea to put anything with lead in the dishwasher IMO.

I have a separate dish washer.

I think that the bleach in the detergent will corrode the electronics and traces.

After getting them cleaned up, repaint the eyes and teeth...but don't stop there! Keep going with the white paint and get some yellow and aqua blue paint and make those little guys look like they are supposed to. Paint all the claws on the fingertips yellow. I painted my guys like the translite and they looked awesome. If I still had the game I would take some pictures.
