Bought a DH, played fine, needed to be shopped. Installed new flippers, rubber and bulbs. Hooked up all devices and checked with test mode. Everything except some of the optos work as they should. Bought a new opto board, still not all optos work and most are weak. When the game turned on, it cycles over and over the solenoids. When you start to play, it launches the ball even if you don't pull the trigger. It also will sometimes launch two balls right after one another. I checked my connection, all look good. Reseated the boards and connectors. Still no improvement. Any help appreciated.

I can do that, just tell me how.

I should mention I know what a power supply is an I know how to use a meter, just exactly what and where are my questions.

Tp3 gives me 12.11volts

I know which ones work and which ones don't, but with a new opto board wouldnt that eliminate them from the process?

Found it. One loose wire that was supposed to be pigtailed to a connector under the playfield. Put it in, everything worked and no more solenoid cycling. Go figure........
