I would buy any game, regardless of theme, with playfield Art of this standard:

As cool as that is, you don't play the art champ.

    Quoted from JosiahCox:

That game is code name: Cinnabon
And I still can't figure out what it is.
Guys I thought most of you had the code names for the next 4 games......
    Harold - GB
    Cinnabon - ????
    Toys - Aerosmith
    Shark - JW???

Shark = Jumped the Shark = Happy Days?

Breaking Bad mentioned for Cinnabon seems wrong - In that sense, Cinnabon was actually Saul, as in - that's where his secret identity sent him after everything fell apart. So, If you're going to go that route, a Better Call Saul game would make more sense -- but still doesn't make sense for Stern pinball. Unless AMC leaned on them hard after Walking Dead? Star Wars makes seems much more likely.

Shark ... Famous Led Zeppelin story about band members, groupies, a hotel room and a small shark. Maybe Google it.

I think this little snippet from last year clearly identifies the connection of Cinnabon with Yngwie Malmsteen, so get ready for Dirty Donny to crank it up with some Fury!

    I am a Viking.

Where is Jeff Scott Soto now? He could belt it out.

That is a name I haven't heard in quite some time, I don't know what happened to him...

Oh yeah, I am a viking, I'm going out to war
I've got death upon my mind
As I was leavin', oh yesterday
I've got no fear in my heart

Though I doubt it relates to this, I wonder if there is any underlying purpose other than basic PR for all the Stern tweets and FB posts about old DE games.

I have to agree. Look how pretty TOM looks, but holy shit, the game puts me to sleep. It stuck around 6 years because of looks, but eventually I had to let it go because it wasn't worth the footprint.

    That was a Mudshark.

    Do not google it.

    Did not know that one.

    yep....it's not pretty.

yours lasted 5 years and 6 months longer than mine, beautiful game but I got bored with really fast.

Soooooo who is making iron maiden then?

Also how in the world could jjp do muppets and toy story for games 4 and 5 before the license agreement ran out?!

Iron Maiden is next year so art can likely wait.
I would guess that the licenses stipulate a certain time period for development and then a period of years of distribution/sales.

Have to agree on TOM - all show and no go.

the main reason it lasted as long as it did, is because I wasn't buying much anyway, so it stuck around, because I didn't need the spot.

I think I'd rather Ozzy Osbourne for the artwork. e.g. The Bark At the Moon album cover. Not sure if I'm in the minority on this one.

    #226 8 years ago

If they did a Sabbath pin it should have Ronnie James Dio in it as well. Not to crazy about Bark at the moon art but Sabbath does have some cool album covers.

Well Black Sabbath did have pentagrams on quite a bit of their art.

    #230 8 years ago

That's Anthrax's new logo, pentagram with the A emphasized. I would be all over that!

Negative. Its just a pentagram. This is the Anthrax logo

Gort- I think Black Sabbath's best years were with Dio as frontman. Never cared much for Ozzy, but Dio/BS and Heaven and Hell [band] were magical.
    Miss that dude.

Dio's best contribution to metal. Sabbath was 10x the band with Ozzy.
