I'm confused.
Does the total number of deposits exceed the number of machines being built? If the answer is NO, then is the factory under an obligation to fill the deposit orders to matter who the distributor is?

So the factory doesn't look at pre paid desosits and the number of machines to build. They just tell a distributor you're only allowed to sell 5 and no more, instead of calling all the distribs first to find some info before the release?

So I'm guessing at this point the "reason" for short has yet to be determined.

Some folks missed out that thought maybe they'd get one.
Stern announced they'll run another Premium with art similar to the LE with the same exact game play as the LE, for cheaper than the LE, in unlimited quantities.
This isn't good enough for some of the people who seem to be more interested in having something others can not than actually playing pinball.
They want to take legal action against the distribs and/or Stern and have Stern give them vouchers for heavy discounts on future games due to their "loss".
