Make every game the same. LE? Premium? Pro? What a damned racket. If I were a designer, I would hate to see any lesser version than my very best get released. Pinball is a game, not an investment. If everyone stopped buying the LE's then the next machine will be all the same model and they wouldn't have any of these problems. Of course some people are getting greedy. They found a barrel of rubes!!
Man...this thread is so busy, I sure hope there's somebody still in the technical forum who can help me with my Stern button guard side rail installation!!!

WAIT. Why in the holy hell would LE owners possibly care if they increased the amount of LE's being released???? That makes no sense. Unless there are actually douche bags who are buying these as an "investment", in which case they are the problem anyways, so who cares what they think?
If the LE is the best they can put out, then they need to stop trying to artificially inflate the market and just make all of their games the best they can be. Make one model. It's that simple. The comic book market tried this same limited edition BS back in the 90's. Although it worked REALLY well for a little while, it ended up almost killing the market.

Do the premium and the LE play the same? Have the same playfield? Which is the one without the hammer? Because that is the one they shouldn't even be making. Selling a version with hopped up graphics for the Fancy-Lads is ok by me, but putting out a dumbed down version of the playfield is just plain horse manure! How about a CV without a Ringmaster? Let's make a MM, but the trolls are only available on the plutonium version! Make the game the best it can be and then release it that way.
If the Fancy's want an LE, then give them a different backglass with a shot of the band getting haircuts or something, but for cheese sake, leave the playfield in tact for all versions!
