Some people who got in late in the day have been told no go. I was one of them but I also was late in the day. Ill be getting a premium and I'm ok with that.
Well believe what you want but distros orders have been cut. That is a FACT. So some lost out because of it. FACT.
So many have said the cut absolutely happened and some are still asking "Did it happen"

It really is a shame for Stern that they couldn't do this properly. To rush these games out time and time again unfinished and now get everyone pumped only to pull the plug on some and add some to Metallica's site? Really? It just seems NUTS that this was not orchestrated in an orderly fashion. Again, I am a Stern fan and buyer. I am extremely disappointed with how they let this go down from the start. I truly hope everyone getting an LE is happy and loves it. I bet they will. It seems though that many will be let down about this. I am actually ok with a premium especially, if their is another choice that looks better. I just can't imagine a business getting by like this. But, if we put up with it. So be it. If I were a distributor that had gotten many games taken away I would consider a different line of work. That behavior is unacceptable imo.
Quoted from starfighter:I'm confused.
Does the total number of deposits exceed the number of machines being built? If the answer is NO, then it's the factory under an obligation to fill the deposit orders to matter who the distributor is?
It seems that distributors sold what they thought they could based on feedback from Stern and the past sales. Then Stern lowered the number of machines they are giving to them to sell. So now some will NOT be getting an Le.
