Dumb question... I’m having an issue with Checkpoint blowing the F2 fuse on startup. Apparently the issue is related to the pop bumpers... I tested a pop bumper diode in circuit and it read bad, but when I pulled it out of circuit it read good. I checked the coils and they were all good, but the one with the bad diode was only reading 3 ohms instead of 4 ohms. Any ideas what would cause this?

Electrons take the path of least resistance. In the case of your solenoid the electrons pass through the wire rather than the semi-conductor. When you take the diode out of circuit there is no alternate path for the electrons.

If you suspect a problem with a diode, just replace it. It's not unheard of for components to fail under load. Once you have a new diode installed, then see what happens.

F2 on which board?

3 or 4 ohms is the resistance of the coil winding you are measuring.
The diode can't be tested on the coil.
Coil resistance can vary.

You guys are awesome.

F2 on the power supply board, which is a newer board.
