It's a 1N4004.

1980 WMS parts book shows it as part number 05-6258.

Which translates to a 1N4004.

They're rated at 400 volts. I'm not an EE, but weren't they overkill to begin with? The drive transistor will fail long before the diode.

I get mine by the handful out of bins at a local place (silicon valley). A nickel each. At that price with no shipping, it's a no brainer. Will have to look next time to see what they charge for higher rated 1N400X diodes. Place has lots of other pinball components too, so I never drive there just for diodes.
