Says right there on the body - "1N4005"

In this application you could use that same one or an 1N4007

Why do you think it's faulty? Unlikely.

Please don't start 'shotgunning' to repair - measure, measure MEASURE!!! First.

Agreed. This is unlikely to have failed. You should do a diode test on it. It's a couple of cents as a part but why do unnecessary work and take unnecessary risk on the board.

The schematic shows what the part should be.

This is a working board there is no diode on the one I need to replace

How can you read that ? Lol

For clarity my friend gave me 2 boards .. one with a removed diode one a transistor . But he couldn’t get all the solder out so I did with my solder sucker and want to replace them . I have no idea why there were removed and if/how tested .

I am still not sure how you saw 1N4005 on there ? But the schematic definitely shows it . Where are those ?

Thanks so much for the help !

I downloaded the PDFs a while ago. Rottendog stopped publishing their schematics but they have recently published them again. Not all of their board schematics but the important ones.

Other diodes in the area show different parts of the labeling. Fill in the blanks from there
