If two different machines have the same set up, you need the spacer on that one hole. There’s a reason why it’s there which has to do with the depth of the ball below the Playfield when it rests in the cradle. That determines its trajectory, distance and where it lands. Designers figured that out long ago. I’m having a devil of a time with My Jokerz kick out hole: ball keeps hitting the rear wall and bouncing back into the hole. Continuously. The best way to fix it is to remove the Playfield because it’s too damn difficult to reach otherwise. That’s too big of a job, plus the only way to test my work is to put it all back and play it. Probably multiple times. So I experimented bending the kick arm to hit the ball slightly left, which is not the right way but it does work. Most times.
