That deflector fail is hilarious.

What the hell? Did they only make 20 gold playfields? Ridiculous. Sounds like there was way more demand than what was made. Very disappointing. I have been wanting a new playfield for at least 20 years. Really don't want a digital repro and that seems to be their new business model. Will be surprised if I get an email for a silver.
They say they are moving to a digital model to make small orders. They also state the colors wont match like a silkscreen. I'm really not interested in a digital repro.
Quoted from tstone:Sounds like they should have made quite a few more. When they're all tooled up, that's obviously the best time. I wonder how they so badly missed the mark for how many to make.
Something definitely is off. If only a few of us here got one, who the hell got the rest?
Quoted from pinballinreno:Has anyone installed their CPR playfield yet?
I'm curious how the new diner cutout looks.
My install is months away, I have a couple more games to restore before I get to mine.
I'm with you. I can't wait to see all 10 of these new playfields in action.
I had always assumed you had to "spin" the cup. I get 3 mil by nudging upwards in rhythm with the ball. You can do this without tilting. It doesn't take much on my machine. I have been playing it that way since my days as a teen in the arcade.
Quoted from KornFreak28:Would digital be better?
According to CPR when they ran these, they would not be able to exactly match the neon orange in digital format. If there is a difference, it will likely be the colors. I waited years on the silkscreen list and got no notification. They sold out. Then they had an Ebay sale for some of their personal collection. These were pulled off the line without the rating system. I paid a king's ransom for mine and had it sent to Kruzman. Its beautiful now.
