Quoted from Tsskinne:I locked out and found one with the Diamond Plate Playfield and yellow wire form....anyone know how many of these there actually are?
According to Mark Ritchie, 200 units or less.
Quoted from mof:I spoke to a few Diner owners who mentioned that while that's true, the artwork is too detailed to stencil, so it requires custom decals.
You have silk screen and then you have silk screen stencils which is a totally different process.
Nothing requires custom decals if you have a means of creating silk screens and nothing is too detailed to stencil.
Quoted from sethbenjamin:Also...does anybody know if Diner was originally meant to have a center pin (between the flippers)? I can see an indentation on my playfield right where one would go...and in the course of gameplay I have found myself wishing it were there!
Yes, mine has the early post between the flippers that never made it to the production models.
However, mine is a very, very low number prototype with the red boards.
Quoted from Methos:Thinking of leaving the club as I need the $.
Sorry to see you go!
You'll be back!
