Has anyone shopped their Diner and still happen to have both older slingshot plastics still intact ?
With sorrow I noticed both mine were broken and would love to get the game whole and nice.
I would gladly buy them.
Thanks

Quoted from Plumonium:Hey guys, I need some advice here...
I'm in the middle of a extensive clean up job for my Diner. Actually, I'm pretty much done except I'm waiting for the god damn coffee cup repro to be available again... So my game has been in pieces for 4 months now and I can't stand it anymore. I got to play.
My dilemma is: keep waiting so I put it back together only when I get the new cup. Or, put it back together now with my old yellowed cup and once it gets available again disable and re-assemble again...
ALL I wanted to do initially was to replace the yellowed cup, that was the ONLY reason I took my game apart. Now, replaced a shit load of part on it but considering putting it back together without having done what I aimed for. It's kinda silly...
What you guys would do?
I would forget about that repro cup and read this thread thoroughly, then transform your old cup back into a next to new one....

I´ve tried the method and it works wonders....

Who can help me out with waterslide decals for Diner ? Mine are getting rough, particularly the guest inserts in the center.
I had a look at the sticky ones that Classic Arcades offer... They are just pure rubbish.... Are there better ones out there ?

If those are the ones that originate from Classic Arcades be very careful. I got a set and it's the worst rubbish ever that would shame the rest of your game. Chunky, low-res graphics at best and thick as hell. Check the original source first. I am searching high and low for waterslide decals decals which I still haven't found. If I had a good scan I would print my own.

Quoted from Reality_Studio:I had them put on and I think they came out ok, some pics attached, I had both the DINER area and 5 customers are decals changed. There is a paint touch up that needs to be done near the letter R, but aside from that it's done. They had to remove both old decals, sand down the inserts which had horribly worn old silk screen paint on them and they were sticking out of the playfield a bit as well, re-seated them then applied new decals.

Well I have to hand it to you , those look great. Here is the problem though. Apparently Jeff at Classic A had in the past also a nice batch that is now long gone. It is the same with replacement decals for Police Force. The ones I got are simply substandard quality where even the ink has bled from the artwork, has crossed the black outer round ring. Unfortunatley C.A is incapable of handling technical feedback, questions and claims. I know others as well who have been deeply disappointed with them decals and the C.A reply is utter silence. It is obvious that C.A made poor scans, had them transferred and printed and not involving any quality controll. The decals are oversized, set is not complete with one or two missing. Were yours waterslide or selfsticking ? Have you coated and protected them as well ?
Your Diner really shines.
