Hey guys,

My wife loves pinball, but has been suffering from migraines and headaches for almost the last 4 years.
The machines she can play are limited. I brought home a new Fastbreak and the stobe/flashers make it unplayable for her, they are just waaayyyy to intense. Any thoughts on how to dial the intensity back quite bit?

Try some of the lamp covers ("condoms") or ones with tinted glass like the ones on some Stern games.

Other ideas out there in case this fails?

lol, well that's a sure fire way if all else fails.

If they are incandescent bulbs you can paint them to diffuse the light, keep adding coats until you get the desired effect, don't know why you could not do the same with Led's, start off with a light coat, the lights don't stay on long enough to get hot enough to burn the paint off.

While you can get "dimmer" 12V bulbs, thats an easy solution.

Ebay, "12V T10" search. Basic Bullets, frosted in 12V.

A couple quick tricks are a small cardboard sleeve that goes inside the flasher dome, limiting the light to just the top.

Another is try cotton balls around the bulb in the cap.

Wouldn't putting cotton on a hot bulb be a fire hazard?
