Ding Ding Ding Ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen your attention please.
In this corner, wearing blue, hailing from cyberspace...Its Tron. Tronnnnnnnnn
And in the opposite corner, direct from the Shire, sporting Frodo green, its Lord of the Rings. Lord of the Riiiiinngs.
I want a clean fight, no hits below the flippers, No death saves allowed.
Tron has the looks, the sounds and a nice uppercut but will it be enough? LOTR has shown it can stand toe-to-toe and go the deep into rounds. Giving the slight edge to Tron but they are both winners. Lets get it onnnnnnnnnn!

beautifull
and TRON anyway
LotR is a much better game and gets old much less quickly. I'm lucky enough to have locations nearby with each of them.
Tron is okay, but just doesn't do it for me. Doesn't feel like anything special, just a stripped down Doctor Who with the time expander replaced by a less interesting version of Attack from Mars' center target.
Lord of the Rings, by contrast, is a really cool looking game, that has more going on than most. There's no shortage of great shots. There's just so much to do in the game!
Hope this helps.
I have both games sitting right next to each other in my house. They are both fantastic games in my opinion. So no matter which you pick you are getting good solid games. As I walk up to them which one I turn on is strictly a matter of my mood. Tron games will be shorter, but there will be more of them. LOTR I will be trying to destroy the ring which is a bit more involved. But both are fun. So like some wise people above said, which do you like better? They are different enough that it is a pretty distinct choice. It is a good choice to have.
Quoted from trilogybeer:Roll an eight sided dice , odd number go with Lord of the Rings , even go with Tron .
Then again, if you own an 8 sided dice, the decision is pretty simple, isn't it?

No . Aren't both these games based on movies that could be considered geeky . I honestly don't know which movie is more geeky .
