Been thinking about using a pin backbox, installing a led tv and having it loop translite images like a screensaver. Then hang it up on the wall in my game room. Anyone seen anything like this? Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Never seen or heard of one but sounds really cool.

I've been thinking about doing that ever since I saw a virtual pin.

    That's a really good idea.

Look in the show your game room thread. discussion on displaying movie posters digitally, using a wall mounted slim TV that has a connection to put a ASUS stick in. In that case, there was a movie poster app. Should be fairly easy, except it's pinball IP you are talking about so thats where my help ends.

I just started on a similar project myself this weekend. I downloaded about 90 HP VIDEO + AUDIO files from https://www.vpforums.org/ that is basically short 30 second videos of games in attract mode accompanied by game music that are used as previews in the frontend software. I'm going to mount a 50' TV vertically on the wall that will cycle through them like a digital poster.

Would you be willing to link to the page or a page at VP fgd forums where one of those files are hosted?
    Love your idea

Thanks. https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=8287 You can search HP VIDEO + AUDIO under downloads on the top right of the page and it will bring them all up

Hot damn! Simple and straightforward. Two of the best attributes of any project.

Can't wait to see your implementation.

Here's a short crappy cell video of it playing on windows media player to give you a idea of what it will look like.
