Thinking about starting to pursue a trade for a SM. Are there any significant differences in production runs to be aware of? Any reason to avoid one run over another?

Dan I think the main differences were that the later runs had plastic aprons and the playfield support pegs that have become standard on Stern pros.

Also, some of the last run had spider-webbed rails at the flipper buttons which was a nice bonus.

Mine was one of the last run and I installed the playfield slides for about $50, but the plastic apron does not really matter to me. I was also lucky enough to get one that has the webbed rails.

SM is fun indeed. I need to work on getting Stephen's GC score off of mine

What game are you looking to trade or sell? I'll keep my eye out for one...

Thanks guys. Nothing drastic it seems. It would be the IJ I got from Strohz.

The webbed Stern rails are just the same lollipops cut out.
Get the ones from Steve Ritchie, they look much better.
