This is both the earliest known photo of Paris AND the earliest known photo of a human. Zoom into the lower-left and observe the fellow standing on the street corner apparently getting a shoe shine; there were undoubtedly scores of other people present, but he was the only one that remained still enough to be captured by the long-exposure shot.
