All of the other planets in the Solar System would fit in between the Earth and the Moon. You could even stick Pluto in there if you like.

Hydrox cookies debuted in the U.S. in 1908. The similar Oreo cookie, introduced in 1912, was a knockoff of the Hydrox. The Oreo eventually exceeded Hydrox in popularity, which resulted in the Hydrox being perceived as an imitator, although it was the original.

You can’t drive a car from North America into South America, due to the “Darien Gap”— an area of dense, dangerous and roadless jungle between Panama and Colombia. Though the roads in Yariza, Panama and Turbo, Colombia are only 66 miles apart, connecting roads are unlikely to be built here due to great expense, environmental concerns and the threat of diseased cattle and drug traffickers moving into Panama.

I’m fascinated by this map of regional terms used to describe athletic footwear. I’m originally from Chicago and have always called them “gym shoes.” It’s wild that only folks in Chicago and Cincinnati prefer that term.
So I was surprised to find local “City-Opoly” board games sold out West with a token piece called a “Gym Shoe.”
But then… Aha! Made in Cincinnati, Ohio!
