Jonah Hill is the most foul-mouthed actor of all time. Having sworn 376 times in movies.

Leonardo DiCaprio is second with 361.

    Quoted from TheHueManatee:

That one totally surprised me. Thoughts of Eddie Murphy or Sam Jackson were top of my list.

Hydrox cookies debuted in the U.S. in 1908. The similar Oreo cookie, introduced in 1912, was a knockoff of the Hydrox. The Oreo eventually exceeded Hydrox in popularity, which resulted in the Hydrox being perceived as an imitator, although it was the original.

The 100 pleats in a Chef's hat represent 100 ways to cook an egg.

    #193 6 days ago
    Quoted from RWH:

The 100 pleats in a Chef's hat represent 100 ways to cook an egg.

That is interesting. I've never heard that one.

    #194 6 days ago
    Quoted from RWH:

Going to fact check that with a couple different chefs that I know. . .

    #195 5 days ago

Or you could try, I dunno, Googling it?

Turns out it's a myth (still interesting, but not a fact) or "cooking lore," as evidenced by the fact that "in Escoffier’s standard tome of French cooking, “Guide Culinaire” from 1903, you’ll find 143 ways to prepare an egg."

Does the thread title need to distinguish between "true facts" and "alternative facts"?

Came off google under "did you know" and then I chose fun or interesting facts and it among others come up.

Napoleon was only "French" because France annexed the Italian Island of Corsica just before he was born. Otherwise... he would have been considered Italian and would have been unable to attend the French Military Academy.
