So for the first time I did some solder work. I replaced a solonoid on my twilight zone and forgot to plug in 2 connectors i unpluged to get at the solonoid. when I turned on my machine to see if I fixed it it turned on but the dot matrix was blank with 3 bars. I turned it off and reconnected the plugs turned it on and had the same problem. I know it may be complicated problem but before I upload pictures and rip my hair out I was wondering if by this description anyone knew what happened? Any help is much appreciated.

I did check it even though all the work I did was under the playfield. I guess what I am wodering is how did 2 plugs being unpluged under the playfield mess up the dot matrix.

So if it's not the plugs. I did install/solder in a new extra ball button, a micrswitch on the mini playfield and a new solonoid for the extra ball kick out. could this have caused my dot matrix to have a melt down? The game was off and the solder job looked good. I just cant make the connection as to why these things wouls affect each other.
