Makes me remember the good times when I was living in Colorado. Ate lunch every Tuesday in Leadville CO on my vending route. Would love to visit Alaska one day. Enjoy the long days!

I’m heading up that way next month to visit in-laws. They live in the valley. Can I ask where the hike is?

It's the twin peaks trailhead. If you park at Eklutna lake it goes up from there. There are usually sheep on one of moutains or another so watch for them. Just look for white spots that move. This is a bit beyond the normal trail, but even the first overlook is amazing. Maybe 1.5 miles? I have seen signs of bear on that trail, so just be smart.
