Stealth coat was good, but not as good as the diamondplate from Williams.
I have what I think is the one and only Taxi diamondplate.

As did, I thought, several later-model Data East games. A couple
DE games were advertised with their new "Kryptonite-Kote" ... or
something like that.
I heard that all playfields get coated at the same place, so all
manufacturers should be using similar, if not identical, hardcoats
on their playfields.
For what it's worth, here's the earliest I've seen it referenced (from the PotO flyer).
