Quoted from MightyGrave:Sold my "original" AFM to refund Dialed in
My pro for DI:
- shooter game
- flows a bit like AFM
- Deeper rulesheet then AFM
- RGB-LEDs
- interesting Layout
- Much more fun to me
how much time you have it? i love my star wars premium and i have doubts about the theme with dialed in
I have it since 11/2017 - and it's still the honeymoon-time. But it's the most played game and since DI is in the house I hadn't turn on the AFM.
I absolutely wanted an AFM but it's not my type of game in home environment. It's repetitive after 100 plays. And for the price i would go DI.
The Theme is funny and it's really good used. Usage of LEDs is superb. And it offers me alot of fun.
If you can get over the theme it offers a lot of flow and it's hard to master
Quoted from woody76:Have both, love both, but DI wins by a ton
Me too, same conclusion, but I love afmr too.
I wouldn't waste money on an LE. The differences do not justify the upcharge. The only real difference is the powder coating on the armor which you can get done for less than 1k and the lights on the ramps which don't have any impact on game play. I struggled with this same question and ended up getting a standard because I couldn't justify the extra money.
Dialed in by a lot. I’m not a huge fan of the theme but Lawlor did such a great job with it. It would probably last longer in your collection.
Have had a original afm for years and a dile for 8 months or so. Both are great but dile is a special game and there is nothing else like it. Afm is also good fun but is fairly basic. Dile has so much more to offer and is just steps above most other pins.

Agree - standard saves a lot of bugs...

Imo jjp pins are worth the upgrade.... invisaglass, powder coat, external headphone jack, extra lighting, beautiful printed manual and few other little differences.
A lot of people didn'tlike the DI theme at first, me included. It doesn't bother me at all now. Awesome game
If only Heighway was a trustworthy company.
I say this becasue I think Alien trumps both of these games. I got lucky and actually have an Alien. Greatest overall game I've ever played...but given the current situation I certainly would not recommend buying one right now...maybe that will change.
I'd go DI between the to just for the longevity factor.
DI is a fantastic game and gets my vote because it's something new.
Lots of people didn't like the theme originally because they are dumb, simple minded people that love to piss & moan aboot anything.
Personally I went Standard becasue4 I didn't want it to look like an eggplant...and I'm cheap.

Thumbs up for the last part! I only kid
I vote for DI as it would fulfill the OPs lineup better than an AFMr.
Haven't played AFMR but the original version and it's awesome. DI is so much more modern though and I would go for that if choosing between those two. If you've got the money go for LE. I first bought Standard and yes you get exactly the same gameplay but I missed the extras (as I'm a perfectionist) and sold it to get the LE instead. Nothing wrong with the Standard though, awesome game too.

Intelligent statement of the day.
