Dialed In just keeps looking better and better. I would like to get a Ghostbusters but the playfield issues and lack of substantial code updates is driving me away from it. I wasn't a big fan of the Dialed In theme at the beginning but I can see it being fun with the more gameplay videos I watch.
Agree, the whole unveil needed far more showmanship. Just a little while after Expo JJP put out this trailer for The Hobbit which I think is the most professionally looking trailer ever for a pin. Heck I just watched it again and it makes me want to go play my game, lol.
JJP needed something like below for the reveal, dim the lights, play the trailer, crowd goes nuts, then Jack says "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to introduce Pat Lawlor and his latest game Dialed In!", Standing ovation, Jack drops mic, lol.
I may be selling another of my non JJP games to get a Dialed In, this game is looking great. The price right now is whats stopping me from buying the game...Buying a standard would "save" (lol) a grand but its worth the extra $1k to get the LE for the extra features in my opinion.
Quoted from forensicd:Man, thats tough to decide. 1000 bucks for glass, 13 lights and powder coat.
There's a few more things. Honestly the extra cost for the LE is justified. Here's some estimates for valuing the extras on the LE.
Invisiglass: $200
Shaker motor: $150
Ramp light kit: $100?
Powder coated armor: $500 (powder coat from JJP is very high quality, not baked on enamel like a lot of other non JJP games)
3D molded Einstein Theater sign: $25
Total: $1,075
Still seems like a decent value. The extra cost for the LE is nearly all made up when the items are priced out separately. Stern is charging $2k more for an LE over a premium for a shaker motor, baked on enamel armor, and "mirrored" (no longer true mirror) back glass...
