Any update on build dates? Im interested in buying but not in the mood for the waiting game as of late!

Quoted from Pinballomatic:Still on track to ship in second quarter of this year as far as I know.
But it seems more like June than April.
I suspect May is a good guess. It appears that they have at least been making test runs of Dialed In's and they have been getting field tested for a month or two now. So by now I think any last remaining kinks have been worked out and they probably have most of their necessary components in stock or on their way so I suspect as soon as they get to a stopping point with building Hobbits they will start cranking them out
i am hearing April, but that all dependent on the 1000's of parts that are involved. if 1 vendor has an issue then the line stops.

My bet would be June or later.
Quoted from Cserold:My bet would be June or later.
JJP said late May last week, but I think June is more likely, too.
Quoted from Pinballomatic:DI on main line WOZ on small line
Will that mean the end of Hobbit production?
So it looks like their plan might be to run whatever the current machine is on the big line and then use the small line to fill in previous titles as demand dictates. This might keep titles available for many more months (or years) than would otherwise be possible. Parts inventory to make it work might be expensive,so retirements are eventually inevitable. 2017 and already JJP may need to add capacity?
Quoted from txstargazer3:JJP may need to add capacity?
I hope they do. I hope they add another main line someplace. Keep the line speed low enough to maintain quality ... just add another line for the next pin produced.
To me...as long as it arrives complete and with no damage or issues...because I had the hobbit and smaug delivered at samentime and both of them were scratched up and damaged....just want this onento arrive safe and hopefully with a complete code.
So how does pricing work with JJP? Ive never bought new from jjp, only stern, and we all know those prices vary wildly. Does price include shipping, and is there special dealer pricing?
I've only ever seen free shipping advertised for vets or active service members. Pricing seems consistent with JJP games... although I imagine some breaks might be plausible, but I don't think anything like Stern games.

I would suggest calling some distributers in your area, plus maybe one or two of the bigger ones on the east and west coast to find out what the options are. I would not be surprised if there is some fluctuation, unless that has changed with Dialed In. But in all reality, it would be tough for any manufacturer to completely control the distributors' pricing choices.
Quoted from merccat:Is there a list of distributors? Who's on the west coast?

Thanks,
From their site it sounds like all Endless Pinball does is place an order on your behalf you and you still pay shipping even if you were to pick it up from them so doesn't sound like they are planning to have any stock.
For zero breaks I can order directly for myself just fine.

Depending on how they handle the queue, you might wait a lot longer ordering direct. Better to find a dist with an early allocation already that has some left if you're concerned about delivery timeframe.
We (KingPin Games) offer free shipping for our US Military Personal (current and past) within the continental United States and we are doubling the manufactures warranty (thus covering you for a full 2 years from the date you receive your machine)
We can offer payment plans also if you so desire.

Can someone please let me know what the lighted ramps are? This seems to be the only real significant difference between the le and standard playfields.
Quoted from forensicd:Can someone please let me know what the lighted ramps are? This seems to be the only real significant difference between the le and standard playfields.
the main ramp up the middle has LED's on it.
Quoted from Cloud7:the main ramp up the middle has LED's on it.
Controlled RGB LEDs, at that.
Quoted from forensicd:Are we talking about the lights highlighted?
Yes those. The standard will apparently be a plain ramp without those bulbs.
Quoted from forensicd:Man, thats tough to decide. 1000 bucks for glass, 13 lights and powder coat.
There's a few more things. Honestly the extra cost for the LE is justified. Here's some estimates for valuing the extras on the LE.
Invisiglass: $200
Shaker motor: $150
Ramp light kit: $100?
Powder coated armor: $500 (powder coat from JJP is very high quality, not baked on enamel like a lot of other non JJP games)
3D molded Einstein Theater sign: $25
Total: $1,075
Shaker is included in the standard edition

Still seems like a decent value. The extra cost for the LE is nearly all made up when the items are priced out separately. Stern is charging $2k more for an LE over a premium for a shaker motor, baked on enamel armor, and "mirrored" (no longer true mirror) back glass...

Theres also a few other differences..... the lighted acrylic backboard and external volume and headphone jack...
correct. here are the things that you gain going from the standard to the limited
* invisiglass
* 3D etched emblem on Quantum Reality Theater
* Metal LE nameplate and numbering
* Lighted Ramp
* Signed game certificate
* Laser etched acrylic cityscape with lighting
* Comic Book
* External volume and headphone jack
* Quantum Mist Blue clear coat body armor
* Printed manual
LE rarely makes financial sense. Going LE is almost always a primarily emotional decision.
I'm in on an LE, but I know that there's no actual $1000 worth of monetary value in upgrades. It's just the version that I wanted in the end.

Normally I agree with most of your posts but here I feel the opposite. The standard is not that much cheaper than the LE and you lose enough that if you are ordering the game, you may as well get the LE. It's the same syndrome that doomed the Hobbit Standard model to obscurity.
from what i understand now. the standards will have the headphone jack (probably easier just to include it instead of having two different cabinets to work with) and will also have the etched cityscape.
mistaken. was given a misprinted flyer. my bad.
as soon as a new flyer is released for both the standard and the limited (and rechecked for authenticity) i will post one here.

Leaning back towards a standard again
the flyers to state *Specifications and features are subject to change.
let's just wait and see what happens.
Whats the chance that one of the aftermarket guys can nearly duplicate the ramp lighting? I have a spare invisiglass, and can get cheap powdercoating done locally.
Unfortunately I love the ramp lighting, but with the aforementioned in mind that extra $1000 is a stretch.
EL lighting is what the strip ramp lighting is called. Becomeing more common place as technology starts to roll over us. There is a few products already available in 5v and 12v.
Google and eBay.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Playfields are starting to arrive at the JJP factory! From JJP's Facebook page.
It looks like the hole where the magnet is by the drones is larger than what I remember on the prototypes. Maybe there's going to be a larger magnet?
