I totally agree with that, a good "alternative", I did that with Woz and hope JJP releases another pin i like at some point in the future

Theme matters to overall sales
If you happen to like the DI theme and pin then people will be happy justifying that they are getting "more value"
I don't see how anyone could possibly know until they start selling on the secondary market
Hobbit has a lot of BOM and is tanking on the after market
There will be nothing to help hold values on DI, they can be run forever by JJP and using umpteen different models in the future
If I want a DI down the road, 2 years from now, I'll just pick up a NIB that is readily available OR a HUO pin for $1500-2000 less
