Hey Dialed In fans, I just got mine and lovin’ it.I’ve been playing pins most of my life so pretty good player.Anyway is there an agreed upon settings and tweaks to make game challenging.Has anybody set theirs up with directors cut,if so what do you think?

This is my favorite pin.IMHO the easiest way to get SIM cards is to get multiball going and bank shot it.I played a lot of basketball so the banks are always open!

Not working ? Turn game off. Remove two screws holding the big clear plastic piece over the pop bumpers. Then remove the screw and nuts holding the theater down, and set the theater to the rear.
Look at the optos, one on each wall. Did one come out ? Snap it back in. I'd put a dab of hot glue on it. Reassemble. You are good to go.

I removed large plastic on pops and then removed front right nut and left rear but on clear plastic but In meeting resistance removing theatre

Right orbit that turns into ramp not registering.The rollover switch does when I roll a ball over it but the ramp switch later doesn’t. If you have multiball and you hit the right ramp nothing happens

On the sim issue I usually try to have Big Bang lit all the time.then light disaster.Get a multi ball and start bouncing them off theatre targets. Banks are open baby

How many Big Bangs can do most people earn during a game? I don't think it'd give you tons of SIM cards - maybe a couple. You'd still have to complete the modes.
I think it'd be nice to be an option.

I find it easy to light and hit Big Bang,but not so easy to hit sims.

When I finally bought one this past June, I immediately donated it to my local co-op, which is a place people donate machines collectively so we all get to play them. Anyway Dialed In made it's arrival about 1-2 weeks after Iron Maiden also made its arrival. In the beginning, Iron Maiden was easily everyone's favorite game to play. I can't blame them either, it's an awesome game with great sounds and lighting, the theme is powerful and the gameplay is nonstop. I like playing it but my only knock on the game is that points are easy to find, even if you have no idea what you're doing. I scored over 300 million in my first game, and I had no idea what I did to make it happen. It's not an easy game (I struggled to get over 100 million after that), but there's so much going on that you can basically do anything to get points at any time. I think this is why people weren't afraid to play it, because they'd get a score of 50-100 million and felt good about it.
Anyway, Dialed In was the complete opposite. People would play it, get 25-50k, they'd feel bad about it and then not return. Not many people knew I owned Dialed In so I got to hear all sorts of opinions about it from conversations happening around me. "The theme is weak" and "it's too confusing" and the like. It was rarely played, so I got to play it a lot which I liked, but I also felt a little sad about people purposely avoiding it to play just about anything else.
Fast forward to today and wow have times changed. I think the best players at the co-op are the ones who are most attracted to the game. It's challenging with a deep ruleset which I think is the greatest strength AND weakness of the game; Unless you take the time to understand what's going on, you'll never like it and never improve. I think this turns a lot of new-to-average players off. The game has been so popular lately that I can't get myself into a game! It's always on 4 player and there's always a huge line to play it. I've heard so many people call it their favorite machine in the room that I've lost count. It took a LOT of time for people to warm up to it, but now that they have I feel a lot better about having donated it. It makes me happy to see people play and enjoy it... and get frustrated at missing a crucial shot, or hitting the big bang in a big moment, or collecting a sim card (always a huge "YES!" when that happens).
It's a great game. I'm so happy to own it. It's my #1 rated game of all time and buying one is the best decision I ever made.

After updating to 1.58 I went back in to settings and put game on directors cut.This is what I had previously I forgot how to do SIM card carry over to next game.
Is Directors cut the preferred set up or is there a consensus on something else?

Check your side to side for level
right above flipper an higher up on playfield with a torpedo level.

This game is literally "dialed in" and polished in every way. Aside from the weird art decision to put a no emotion dude with the phone in his hand I really like everything about it. Has that Lawler flow, feel, humor and the build quality is amazing. Fun, fully developed game....and it looks so much better in person than in pics.

I use bank shots and always incorporate multiball into getting as many sims as possible.You can do a lot of damage with three ball multiball

Wow I’m surprised this aspect of the game upsets you this much.
Do you even notice while your playing?My drones have all worked since day one. My biggest issue was cell phone assembly crapping out.

Betty has an arm that blocks your ramp shots from completing loop.
It’s a timed mode that takes a lot of skill and timing.Im amazed with these comments about cell phones,Betty and QED guy.Pat designed this totally original IP and did a great job.Play the pin open up some modes and multiballs and you will love it. This is like the Roadshow argument,Oh my god I can play that pin because of a song that plays only with multiball
I get the linear argument but the song matches the theme

The way to achieve 3 ball multiball is to start with the normal 2 ball.
Then I believe 3 shots to phone will do an add a ball

I've not yet reached showdown on my DI (my playfield protector seems a good helper to miss Sim cards..

I searched and searched for a Shadow in decent shape and close proximity.I finally killed one and dragged it home. It was great for three months and then I sold it.
Dialed In has been here for 2 years and it is still fun and challenging,I could use a few more disaster modes to mix it up alittle.

After replacing a couple of bad phones with Frank’s @ JJP help I finally got one that worked.Will it works and then it doesn’t.When game is turned on it will work for a game or two than quit.Turn the game back on later and it’s working again??????

As far as my experience with JJP there are plenty of spare parts for Dialed In.
