I have a DI on order, are the balls that come with it so bad that I shouldn't use them?

Does anyone leave the felt off the legs, I found it to be a bit wobbly?

Also I noticed some DI's have a small rectangle box on the top back box that acts like a camera flash, is this something that you can buy or is it supposed to come with the machine?

Thanks!

Hello! I'm not sure if this is an adjustment or something, but it seems like the voice audio during disasters is very very low, is this normal?

Thanks for any help!

Quoted from PinLen83:

Haven't experienced any of the above issues. I'm currently running 1.52, and my production date is dec 1. Only thing I had happen was the left opto on the theater fell out of the housing. The right side apparently had the same issue and was hot glued before leaving the factory. Really minor stuff thankfully.

I had the same issue with my opto as well! I put a piece of tape over it to hold it in place.

Quoted from check_switch_26:

Which voices? The characters on the phone? If those are the only voices that are low, then you may have an issue with your right channel. Those voices are processed to mainly come out the right-hand side, since the phone is on the right of the game.

Go into Sound Test (Diagnostics->Full Menu->Tests->Sound Test), and play the left & right channel test sounds to check things out.

Ok, I did a sound test and nothing was coming out the right speaker, I opened the back panel and wiggled the right RCA connector and it came back on, so it was just a bad connection.

Thanks for the help!

Mine doesn't have those weird dots, but it definitely has the brushstroke thing going on.

Mine is the same, both with dots and strokes, I had them send another one and it was the same so I sent it back. I still have my ticket open, as I want to send a picture of what a good one looks like. It will be interesting to see what they do with others that have this problem too.

Oh I forgot to mention that the rest of the powder coating is glass smooth. It's only the lock bar.

Quoted from RipleYYY:

did someone know the password to enter the BIOS, or did someone already tried by simply removing the cell ?

If you remove the cell and put it back in, it removes the password.
