Anyone looking to leave the club in the minneapolis area (within 6 hours) let me know. I’d love to join!

I’m joining this club next weekend. I’m going to try and read through this whole thread. It’s going to take me a while. Any tips about things to bullet proof or fix before I get to playing this game?

#9070 30 days ago
Quoted from bigd1979:

There is a 1.72 beta code in test at the moment

I played it the other day over at SS Billiards. I’m new to the game though, so I couldn’t tell you what was different.

What is this lag problem that you speak of? Picking up my Dialed In this weekend and want to know what I'm looking for.

#9117 27 days ago

Can someone tell me how many balls are in this game? I want to order some new ones before I pick my game up this weekend.

#9172 25 days ago

Can someone tell me what CPU to buy and how/where to install it? I'm pickin up my DILE this weekend and want to order one up.

#9176 25 days ago
Quoted from J-Freeze:

I'd try the new code and see how it plays before replacing the CPU. You may not need it.

Good suggestion. I'll do that. Any idea when the new code is coming out?

#9178 25 days ago

Well hot damn. I'll update it as soon as I get the machine then. Thank you!

#9200 23 days ago
Quoted from LTG:

Wasn't meant to be harsh. It's a reality updating games with a USB stick. You can use the same stick over and over, and then one day the machine, or a different machine, doesn't like it.
Try a different USB stick usually does the trick.
If you have a better response for this phenomena, I'll use it.
LTG : )

Shit happens???

ltg I just got a HUO DILE set up and installed 1.73. Problem is...I didn't check to see if 1.6 was already installed. Now it won't boot....what to do now?

#9216 22 days ago

Well hot damn. You guys rock. Thanks for the quick responses. Will do that now!

Hey all. New owner of LE #313 here. Super fun game so far. I've got a couple questions though.

My game came with a cliffy over the SIM hole. Is this the JJP protector or the actual cliffy? See pics.

It also came with other cliffies and a mantis for the phone scoop. Are these the new cliffies? The old JJP protectors? What is that little stubby cliffy?

Last question - Is there supposed to be a rubber on the left post by the SIM hole. See pic below.

Anyone?

As far as JJP coding those drones almost completely out because they are dying out on people's machines...that is crazy.

Can you imagine if you went and bought a Mercedes. You drive it home and find out the massaging seat control unit is drawing power while the vehicle is shut off. You go to start it and the battery is dead. You bring it to the dealer and instead of them fixing the problem and replacing the faulty control unit, they just deactivate the control unit. You'd have a lawsuit on your hands. You paid money for a product that doesn't work

This is essentially what JJP did with these drones. It's insane.

One pet peeve on mine on this game is the selfie mode. Not because of the pictures and mode itself, I actually really like t. It's because they use a Polaroid frame for the picture. If you're taking a selfie with a phone, why wouldn't the outline be of a smart phone?

Quoted from bigd1979:

Its really not a huge deal.. u can't even really tell they light up or spin. I have never had issue with mine and i was on the 1.57 code till 2 days ago. Since upgrading i don't even notice a difference .

I'm not disagreeing with this. To me it's more the principal of the matter.

#9317 12 days ago

I'm astonished at those responses. You guys paid for those drones and they don't work. It's not like JJP coded them out and gave you your money back. They took your money and basically shut the off....and you're cool with that? OK....

#9331 10 days ago
Quoted from romulusx:

Wow I’m surprised this aspect of the game upsets you this much.
Do you even notice while your playing? My drones have all worked since day one. My biggest issue was cell phone assembly crapping out.

No it doesn't bother me that much. I've only played the newest code anyhow. I just think it's nuts that others don't care. They bought the game new, paid for this feature, it's shit so JJP codes it out, and people are just cool with it.

Damn...I need more customers like that. What a win win!

Dumb question here. Recently picked up this dialed in LE and the plastic protectors are mounted on TOP of the plastics. Never seen that before. I’m assuming these are installed incorrectly and should be UNDER the actual plastics...right?

Quoted from vireland:

That's right. Under.

You mean the picture is right? Or I’m right as in they are installled incorrectly and should be under the actual plastics?
