Just got DI LE #99 and am absolutely loving it. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I am having an issue where the ball is whipping around the right ramp too fast and actually missing the switch that registers the shot. I've tried adjusting it and the flipper strength but it still happens every so often. Are there any fixes to this?

Quoted from SlapDrain:

Just joined the club! One of the best bang for your buck pins right now hands down. Does anyone make a full standup target decal set for this pin. I found the emoji set for the bob targets but Im surprised i cant find any for the other targets.

This set was installed by the previous owner of my game. Looks better in person, but $40 is a little steep. It also came with the emoji flipper decals which I swiftly removed and added the Alien flipper toppers instead.

When trying to adjust my right ramp switch, I beoke the little plastic nub off of the switch which keeps it on and allows it to move. I cannot put the actuator on as it just falls off or doesn't move. Does anybody know where I can get that switch and a new metal actuator for it?

Quoted from prentice:

The support form at JJP, they will email you a price. Or you can call them. Good luck!

Sent them an email. Can you buy the switch from Marco or pinballlife?

Quoted from hlaj78:

It’s not a bad idea to have a couple of spare switches on hand.

Would you happen to know what switch would work in my case? Would this work?

Also having an “issue” where the phone screen will turn off for a few seconds when a ball hits the scoop hard or the post to the left of it. I can’t seem to find any loose cables. Does anyone else have this issue?

A cool feature I only noticed after I bought the game was the phone vibration simulated at different parts during the game. Does anyone know how the game does this?

Quoted from AvidPinPlayer:

Thank you altan. Your instructions on how to change the battery was right on target. In particular the use of a small screw driver to remove the old battery. The use of a folded tape per the manual does not work very well at all. Your photo help a lot as well.

It is safe to remove when the power is on? Does it save your scores and settings?

Thanks!

Quoted from adol75:

What's the phone screen cue ? I didn't know you could skip multiball. And if you skip how do you get multiball after that ?

Right after you light your multiball, you can hit both flippers twice and cancel it until you start a mode. Once you start a mode, the phone will be lit for multiball.

Quoted from nitrojcrawf:

They nerfed them in the last code update.

I’m on latest code and still occasionally see them fire.

Does anyone know if it’s worth updating to the beta code? Any differences?

Quoted from madamyates:

Been having an issue recently where occasionally a ball won’t feed all the way down into the trough once drained. It just started one day and the machine has never moved. Changed balls, no difference. Used the plastic shim, no difference. A little nudge gets the ball into place. Using carbon balls so I’m at a loss.
Is the trough messed up somehow?

Just started having the exact same issue actually. Looking for a solution.

Does anyone notice any difference in the beta version?

Quoted from arcyallen:

I play in a pretty dark room. Here's my playfield next to Rush. Maybe you're having some lighting issues? I really like a bright playfield (and I LOVE Pinstadiums) but find Dialed in to be perfectly lit.

Nice lineup!

With the most recent beta, does this imply that Dialed In will eventually get an official code update with these tweaks?

Every once in a while you have a monster game. I struggled for the longest time to get showdown and somehow got it twice in one game! Turns out the SIM multiplier maxes at 10x but the modes were still worth a ton. Set to 3 ball. Love this machine! Will be sad to see it go.

You had sim carryover on, right?

Yes

Quoted from pinballizfun:

That explains the score.

I'm still pretty happy with my score.

Quoted from Tommy_Pins:

I occasionally have some phantom switch hits in the subway. Sometimes the Bob switch registers and sometimes the SIM card switch registers without a ball going through them. I’ve tried the switch test and moving the machine around with no luck. They’re opto switches so what would set them off?

Something similar happened with mine where SIM card shots registered as scoop shots. The optos attached to the subway came loose and one was obstructed. Using some electrical tape I popped it back in and had no further issues.

Quoted from Tranquilize:

JJP struggles to code games well, and they really struggle with default rules. Just look at GnR....

I think the foundation/structure is always great, but in some cases the values are incredibly imbalanced like with DI. Just a few tweaks would make most of their games have incredible code. Strange that they just won't do it though.

#13420 8 months ago

The biggest scoring imbalance is under attack multiball. I’ve never seen a super jackpot worth more than 25,000 points. If you don’t bring a mode into it it’s absolutely pointless.
