Just setup my first DILE a few hours ago, working on getting it dialed in This pin has had my attention for a year now.. finally in my collection.

I am on 1.52 currently.

Does anyone have a link to 1.57 code hosted somewhere ? JJP only has 1.60+ on their website from what I can tell.

I'd prefer to try 1.57 from the posts I have been reading on 1.60+

Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:

if you are running the 1.61 code they won't hardly ever come on. drones are shitty little Chinese junk that break all the time, so the new code pretty much takes them out of the game so people would quit complaining.

My new DILE still under warranty has 2 drones that don't spin, only lights when I test them. Gonna try and warranty them out.. I like the drones as it is one of my favorite toys in the game for whatever reason.

There has to be a way to repair them.. nothing to scientific about these unless the motors are burning out which is another problem considering their total run times.

Where in the menu is the drone test?

It's in the COIL test menu

Been a few weeks since accepting my DI LE.. Attempted to connect my android phone to just check it out, but was un-able to get it to work. My phone sees it then asks for the 4 digit security PIN.

Is their a default pin when this occurs ? I tried 0000, 1234 and no dice.

So I just replaced my bob's trapdoor, the flap broke off awhile back.. Is there anytips or adjustments to make this not break off again?

Looks like the stress comes from the trap door opening and the tip of the flap hitting the wireform above when the coil makes it full stroke before resting on the latch.

I could be wrong.. anytips?

Quoted from Audioenslaved:

On further inspection the trap door is actually missing the flap! So off to buy a new one. I’m guessing the trap door is meant to sit proud of the playfield and the flap takes up the slack. I can see why the flaps would continue to break toowitb the ramp sitting too close to the playfield

I was dealing with this a few weeks back after recieving a replacement flap trap door from JJP. After replacing I noticed it was hitting the wireform ramp above it when the coil fully extended. Fellow pinsiders mentioned and linked guidence for me about this issue, so I proceeded to test the various ways to stop this from happening again.

My sweet spot landed on just using 2 #8 washers that I super glued together then dropping them in the coil sleeve, while making sure it was laying flat when put back together. I tried nuts, more washers, less washers, adding spacers to the coil assembly but for my machine just the 2 washers has been great.
