Take Lloyd's offer and go play both, both that will be properly setup and I'm sure he'll have the sound as well. Then decide for yourself.
Quoted from AFM95:Why do you think you keep going back to DI?
Because it's a blast to play, enjoyable shots and when you get the sim card shot you actually have the great feeling of achievement. For me games that are too easy become boring very quickly and this game does have a lot to offer, all of which will take a while to achieve.
Quoted from AFM95:It sounds like I'm going to be working on my backhand today at LTG's.
Scoop is very easy to make from both flippers, ok the simcard is difficult but I do make that shot at least 6 out of 10 times. I have my machine perfectly level and at 6.5' pitched. A lot of times you can play pool and bank it in off the left ticket target too.
Quoted from AFM95:To clarify my phone shot experience, sometimes I'll hit the shot really well and it just won't go down. I suppose it's similar to the SOL on Attack from Mars. You might hit it too hard or be off just enough to have it rattle in and out.
Sometimes the phone shot makes me feel like this:
Gives us an update on your thoughts from Lloyd's after you had played both...
Quoted from AFM95:I plan on making my decision by Monday.
We want the Ralph decision process, you have until midnight or else!!!
Quoted from Scot0308:What about an MBLE?
I just traded my MB for DILE. No doubt MB is a fun game, humorous, stunning to look at especially with the led kits installed. Now code wise there are some fun things to do in the machine. Mosh pit, Monster Bash then of course Monsters of Rock however in smaller collections there needs to be some more substance to keep the player going, that's where this does come up short but hey it's a 20 year old machine and was and still is great for it's time. Now when you place that up against todays machines where is there is more thought out code with rules, sounds, displays, light shows etc.... it hard to top that. With all that being said it was still fun to have one and play but it was time to let someone else enjoy it once it started sitting for month or two without being touched.
