Back when pinball was at its height games reflected current pop culture, not shit that was 30 year previous. May this game look dated in the future? Sure, but who the hell cares? We all agree that MM is a good game, even though it's based on Monty Python? Or that Scared Stiff is good, even though good 'ol Elvira is way past her prime now, right? Or what about Johnny Mneumonic - that's obviously dated now, yet people still like the game.
Further, most of you people bitching own games with similar "kid-like" art and concepts. Roadshow? Yep, kid-like. Monster Bash? Yeh, that's real scary stuff. Cactus Canyon? Whoop, "but there's guns in it!" Yeah, real cutting edge there. Circus Voltaire? Uh, purple neon and transvestites. 'Nuf said there. Funhouse? No good gophers? Etc, etc, etc. Yeah, all you guys are bad asses and only collect games with bitchin' adult themes like, uh Transformers and uh...Demolition Man and like World Cup Soccer. Or Ghostbusters...yep, cuz there's nothing cooler than bustin' some lame ghosts as a theme. Real gritty.
You know, y'all are a buzz kill. We collect pinball machine, toys really, largely because we like to act or believe we are still kids at heart and because we like to play pinball. Well if those two things are true - what's the problem (other than price, I'll totally agree there) with this game there, tuff guys?
