To be fair, the Hobbit SE was only $7500 for people who pre-ordered the LE years before at that price and chose to upgrade to the SE. If I'm not mistaken the SE was $9000 for new orders ($500 more than the $8500 LE).

End of the day I would agree that $500 less (cost of shipping) over any changes is preferable.
This is completely self serving but I would love to see a loyalty bonus, say $250 discount for each JJP game previously purchased. So someone who bought WOZ and TH gets $500 off of DI.
