Quoted from Air_Pinball:

This thing is absolute garbage. Worse than New Coke.
Anybody that thinks this thing is going to do well on location is delusional. Just about everything is licensed these days. Look at the casino games. It's what people expect. It's what draws them in.
This thing is going to fall fast

Are you are expo? Or have you formed your opinion based off a sales pitch and behind your keyboard?

Your posts are toxic to this forum and you are reaching Ka**da status.

Quoted from Sticky:

The fact JJP is already considering changes goes to show the reception is not what they thought it would be and they are concerned.

As opposed to burring their head in the sand? Pick 1.

Don't think the name is going to stop people from buying.
It shoots great. It is fun. Software was pretty cool even in its very incomplete state.

I think there are lots of hurdles for strong sales with this title but if the only thing that is stopping you is the name I think that's pretty weird!

Wonder why it's taking so long for release. October 2016 to 2nd qtr is 6 to 9 months after reveal...
The demo units seemed pretty solid, well in today's age of average NIB stern experience.

So what takes this long? Just ordering parts?

#820 3 years ago

I have both their games, I totally understand that.
Just wondering what happens in between expo and shipping that takes that long.
Seems to be bad cycle for marketing... If they could reveal a game once a year in October and ship in December that would probably be better...
So wondering if it's on purpose or if it's actually just because the part lead time and The small stuff they need to redesign takes that long.

Is that David Theil doing new cast call outs on the 2nd video?

So at expo there was a news team filming the dialed in reveal, has anyone seen the footage they took?

Will the game ship with complete code?

That was the big promise from Pat at expo

I think the Dialed in's Character with his high jeans might have been modeled after JP

The people that waited ages for Hobbit where the ones that ordered direct right? Everyone that got their from a distributor got theirs pretty quick right?

Pretty sure Jack said they would have a preorder period with a deposit just to make sure they can gauge interest to order parts etc. It is uncharted territory... a new IP by Pat Lawlor in 2017.

I don't think a $250 refundable deposit makes you are sucker but that is just me.

this isn't how business works. It's ethically wrong

I would love to see what stocks you have in your portfolio. Just drop it.

Quoted from jar155:

You people will accept and defend anything. This is why Skit-B or J-Pop happen. Nobody wants to hold people accountable for poor behavior. It's absolutely nutty.

I am on your side about preorder money funding pinball production, it is nutty and shouldn't be happening anymore.
But $250 isn't funding production. Its probably not even going to JJP.

We are talking about 250 dollars here. If it was 2500 I understand.
Where do you draw the line? is $100 'unethical'? how about $10
How does a proper pinball company gauge interest in a title? Stern is the biggest and they made 500 x GBLE, and 700 x GOT. They got it the wrong way.

How do you order parts if you don't know how many machines you are going to make? What do you suggest they do?

Are we even talking about the same thing here or am I confused?
