These are the software differences in the Collectors Edition:

  • - Logo screen in attract mode.
  • - UI color in game play.
  • - Pop-up "helper" movies.
  • - Custom ad banner.
  • - Custom news ticker item.
  • - Enhanced topper light functionality.

    • I have attached photos of the first items.

    Note that only the CE comes with a topper. (Not to be confused with the camera flash unit on the SE.) The topper light software works as follows:

  • - On all games, one can set the idle brightness.
  • - On CE games only, the topper light flashes in attract mode, and is included in the lamp effects for the "Top Evil Dude" speech.

    • If I have time (and if I think of anything interesting), I may include some more CE-only functionality.
