The original comparison sheet suggests "Customized Software", so I'd hope that is more than an attract mode, but can't find any further discussion on it.

These are the software differences in the Collectors Edition:
I have attached photos of the first items.
Note that only the CE comes with a topper. (Not to be confused with the camera flash unit on the SE.) The topper light software works as follows:
If I have time (and if I think of anything interesting), I may include some more CE-only functionality.
