I was in NYC last week and played the Dialed In at Jackbar. I have an iPhone 6 and the app would crash a second after opening even after reinstalling and updating and restarting my phone. My friend has an iPhone 7 and he got the app to stay open but we could never get it to sync with the game. A guy at the bar (maybe the operator?) said he got it to work but we could never do it ourselves. Played great besides that, I played two different pre production games and this game felt great.

Looks like a standard landed at Marvin's in SE MI last night. Will try and play it today or tomorrow, interested to see that ramp without the lights.

Email is the way to go but he is slammed so expect a 3+ week wait at this point. EDIT: this is for Cliffy

Did anyone get the play field protector from the factory? Would that help with the SIM hole issue or would it just chip off all the same or chip under the protector? On that note did anyone get the upgraded side art?

#1244 6 years ago

Should have said that was for Cliffy not the JJP factory, edited original post.

The SIM card hole looks easy, has anyone put on a phone hole cliffy yet?

Quoted from stpcore:

When I broke down the price comparison between the Standard and LE the LE made sense to me because I preferred the extras. When adding the costs for me to try to make a Standard resemble a Limited Edition it didn't make sense so I went with the LE. I personally like powder coated armor, Invisiglass, and the extra LED lighting with 3d printed and laser etched plastics.
If I were to try to make a Standard resemble and LE and I sent the armor out for powder I'm probably around $400 or more after shipping both ways. Another $250-$300 for the glass. So now I'm at $700 and I still don't have the extra LED lighting for the ramps, headphone jack, 3-D printed / laser etched plastics etc.
So for me the LE makes sense and I'm happy it's an option as it saves me money in the long run.

I didn't notice this on this other spec sheets but on the JJP site for the CE and LE games it says "Premium clear coated playfield" which is doesn't say under the standard.

I'm having issues with the first switch on the left ramp, if the ball is going fast it will hit the switch and jump up, sometimes down onto the playfield. Does anyone have a picture of a good working switch?

#1417 6 years ago

Thank you, I should have said I meant the first switch when the ramp transitions from plastic to metal, right in front of Betty.
