I guess they were busy that day. My LE #399 was also born on 7/7/17 and has mylar in all the mentioned places.
No issues at all so far...but I only have 5 plays on it

Just checked mine and no wrinkling yet, but I shined a flashlight in the crevices and at one point it looks like it's making contact with the cabinet slightly. I think I'm going to put some felt between the leg and cabinet protectors to give it a little more space. I have some longer black leg bolts that will look better too.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:On my AS I put the Stern metal leg protectors and felt as one of the legs had pressed against decal and creased it.
It's fine now with above.
Good to know, thanks. For those that don't know, I'm talking about these (or you can make your own).

Quoted from pinghetto:I just ordered the Mantis leg protectors for mine. A good friend, Bryan Kelly, came over today and recommended that's what I use. He knows way more about this shit than me, so order was placed promptly!!
Brian
I didn't even know those were available, and they look much thicker. And, uh yeah Bryan Kelly knows everything, i'd trust him

For those with slight wrinkling, the overlap ones would look good. Especially if you powder coated them blue or black.

Quoted from Butch2099:What makes the Mantis better than these? Mantis is 2x the price. http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=2711
What woody76 said, the Mantis ones are clearly thicker and will keep the legs further apart from touching the cabinet.
I think all Dialied In! Owners should do something whether it's additional felt or the thicker protectors. All games will start wrinkling at some point depending on how much you nudge I gather.
