Quoted from Skyemont:

Any body watching the SW live stream. Give you honest opinions. Compare what you see vs. Dialed In. I know we have not played it.

I won't post in that thread since some are probably buying the game and are having a good time. I thought it looked horrible. Empty playfield, graphics looked amateurish. The music was pretty bad as well. For a pro, ok it'll make some money but there is no comparison how JJP is handling graphics and music and that goes all the way back to WOZ and especially The Hobbit. They are packed for the money.

Quoted from pinghetto:

I can't believe what a great game this is. I only got to play it on location before and couldn't hear it all that well.
Had a few people over this evening and just had a blast. The game is nothing epic, not a quest, not even pulse pounding. IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE!! It's just good old fashioned fun. The way I remember the old WMS days. It just has character. So many things that were done right. And plenty of nods back to the 80's / 90's pins.
Well done, JJP. Well freaking done.
Brian

You’re reaction is the same as mine was when I just found myself having FUN.

With all the debates about theme and licenses this Beer article came to mind and seemed to relate to how many regard pins...

I would have went for a standard but not having the lighted ramps is huge for a game with such a great light show.

Quoted from Skyemont:

I don't need to explain in great detail to you why I feel this way!! Again, Full Throttle is a good game. I have played it many times. I just love the Bally/Williams feel and DI nailed it for me. Not saying the flow on Full Throttle sucks. Just saying I'm looking for the old school feeling and it's not there with Full Throttle. So to me, it's not even close.

Yep. It is really about feel. There is something about making the shots along with the flow that makes the game feel great. I think DI flows better than ToM.

Quoted from Coyote:

I'm likely confused, but why can't you LErs just order one and plug it in?

I'm still waiting. Getting more difficult as days go by.

Apparently I’m never getting the game I was “promised”. Will say no more.
