Quoted from pindude80:

Check this out what happened last night.

Quoted from DeeGor:

Not a big deal, but the bubble level was installed backwards.

Quoted from pindude80:

Does anyone's machine have a rubber sleeve on this post?

In all of the pictures in the linked posts it looks like the artwork is not lined up properly with the roll over switch hole cut out? I remember MB repro playfields that looked like that.

Quoted from ngg:

I seem to have it on the correct way as you guys have indicated, but the ball clips it on the way down the wire form

Sounds like they are making it out of acrylic. When you get the replacement, try breaking the old one with your fingers. You should be able to bend it significantly without breaking it otherwise it is acrylic.

Quoted from Skyemont:

Posting pics would be great. I ordered the set from Cliff and they should be here Thursday. I also ordered inlane cliffys too. That will take a beating.

Putting the ball drop directly over the switch instead of a little in front of it is mind boggling. Hopefully Cliffy is in full production for this game.

Quoted from PinMonk:

How many plays did that machine have on it to have THAT happen? Had to be a lot.

Yes, I assume a lot.

Quoted from bigd1979:

Yep most games with the drop on that spot tend to get damaged from my experience.. especially without mylar .

I don't ever remember a game dropping directly to the center of the switch. Most drop above the switch onto a thick Mylar spot and then roll over the switch.

Quoted from jar155:

Tons of games drop on the slot.

Most games drop above the switch and for good reason. I just looked at 40 plus games with ramp returns and only two do this; TZ and RBION. Both have damage... Must be a Pat Lawlor thing.

Edit: I just looked at AS pro and it drops right on the center of the switches too. To me this is stupid as hell.

Need something for the mosh pit too.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Cliffy has that covered already too. His set covers both holes.

It still amazes me that two of the best games ever AFM and MB had holes that got blasted after just a few hundred plays. For lack of a small hunk of metal. Hopefully at this point hole protectors become part of the original design for all games.

I have gone back to all flipper rubbers as real rubber. I just don't like the way the super bands change the game play on the flippers. Titans are preferable to super band by a wide margin though but I still favor real red rubber on my DMD games. I do want to try the thin Titans though.

This is odd. Is it all of the rubber going bad or just the flipper rubber? White rubber looks yellowed when it is old, so I am wondering what the problem is here.
